Although we are pet lovers ourselves, we have decided to maintain a pet free home. Monte Vista is a brand-new home, and our desire is to maintain very high quality and cleanliness standards.

We provide 10 biodegradable golf balls for each stay. Additional balls can be purchased in advance of your stay for $2/ball (my cost), there is currently only one manufacturer for these balls. Non-biodegradable balls are not allowed and will result in immediate removal from the property.

Although this is really a personal preference question, Monte Vista is a fully stocked home. Most of our guest reviews say they were comfortable only needing food and clothing for their stay.

Our check-in and check-out times are based on running a high occupancy short term rental, the set times are designed for appropriate cleaning measures to take place as well as any necessary maintenance.

Accessing Monte Vista comes by way of a 1.8-mile gravel road in a gated development. There are two significant hills on the way up where front wheel or rear wheel drive vehicles with bad tires can potentially lose traction. We recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle for the safety of our guests.
